Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) has accepted Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin as a member and immediately elevated her to "president-designate".<br /><br />At a press conference today, PBM president Larry Sng said the decision was made unanimously by the party's political bureau and supreme council.<br /><br />"The supreme council will meet again soon to amend the party constitution to allow a smooth leadership transition," he said.
