Former 1MDB CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy is standing by his statement recorded by the MACC in the case involving former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.<br /><br />This is regarding the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund’s audit report case against Najib at the Kuala Lumpur High Court.<br /><br />Defence counsel N Sivananthan said this to trial judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan during today’s hearing of the prosecution’s bid to call Arul as a star witness against Najib.
