People in Queensland and New South Wales are being warned to prepare for more potential power shortages tonight, as the electricity network is facing strain for a second day. The Australian energy market operator was forced to used emergency powers to direct generators to pump more electricity into the network yesterday to avoid forecast supply shortfalls.
