In a major tragedy on June 20, 11 people got trapped at Timber Trail Ropeway at Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh.<br /><br />This is the second time in the past 30 years, that the trolley has got stuck midway. In 1992, a similar accident had happened at the site and all 11 passengers except one -- who had jumped from the trolley, were saved in an aerial operation by IAF commando Major Crasto.<br /><br />CM Jai Ram Thakur also reached the spot to supervise the rescue operation.<br /><br />All persons were later safely rescued in a daring operation.
