In Burkina Faso, access to drinking water remains a major problem. The consumption of poor quality water, especially in rural areas, is the cause of several diseases, including diarrhea.<br /><br />To address these challenges, Arthur Ahmed YO decided to create Bilada, a company that produces disinfectants for drinking water. It also produces disinfectants for the treatment of fruits and vegetables, for health care materials, for hand hygiene and dishwashing. <br /><br />In the next five years, Bilada hopes to develop a community distribution network made up of women's groups and health workers to be close to rural families.
