The Verge reports that Apple announced the new feature during its WWDC 2022 event.<br />Craig Federighi, Apple software engineering senior VP, said that in addition to being able to edit and unsend messages threads can be marked as "unread" to be revisited later.<br />A message can be edited or deleted up to 15 minutes after it's been sent.<br />Deleted messages can be recovered for up to 30 days.<br />Another texting feature that was added “lets you fluidly move between voice and touch.” <br />When using voice dictation, emoji detection will be provided, and the keyboard will stay open.
