Kelly was <br />sentenced to 30 years in prison. .<br />The decision met the request of prosecutors who had sought for Kelly to receive over 25 years behind bars. .<br />Last September, Kelly was convicted on nine counts, including one charge of racketeering and eight counts of violations of the Mann Act. .<br />CNN reports that the charges stemmed from using his fame for years to lure victims he later sexually abused.<br />According to prosecutors, Kelly used a , "network of people at his disposal to target girls, boys and young women for his own sexual gratification.".<br />The court reportedly heard impact statements <br />from seven of Kelly's victims prior to sentencing.<br />No one can undo the harm that has been done to these victims.
