The Trinidad and Tobago Solid Waste Management Company, SWMCOL, is considering implementing policies to treat with scavenging and salvaging at landfills across the country, in the wake of a fatal accident last week. SWMCOL says these policies are part of a larger plan which will see Trinidad and Tobago move into modern waste management in 2025. Rynessa Cutting reports.
