Marathi actor Ketaki Chitale, who was jailed for allegedly posting a defamatory and derogatory poem against NCP chief Sharad Pawar, said she was molested and hit during her time in police custody. She also said that her arrest was 'unlawful'. <br /> <br />On May 14, 2022, Thane Police arrested Chitale for sharing on Facebook a Marathi verse which allegedly referred to NCP chief Sharad Pawar in a derogatory way.
