Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi has alleged that Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin was lobbying for his deputy Ahmad Faizal Azumu to be appointed as deputy prime minister.<br /><br />“Apparently, Muhyiddin wants Faizal to be deputy prime minister because he is the deputy president of Bersatu, not Azmin Ali.<br /><br />“Surely, Azmin is angry. There will be less political stability,” wrote Puad on his Facebook page yesterday.<br /><br />Puad was commenting on Muhyiddin’s admission that the latter had discussed cabinet appointments - including the vacant deputy prime minister position - with Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob recently.
