Former MIC deputy president S Subramaniam has passed away at the age of 78.<br /><br />His son S Sunther said Subramaniam died peacefully in his sleep around 8pm on Tuesday.<br /><br />Sunther said his father had been bedridden at home for almost 11 years after suffering a stroke in November 2011.
