Bank Negara Malaysia raised its benchmark interest rate for the second straight meeting today. <br /><br />The central bank lifted its overnight policy rate by 25 basis points to 2.25%, reported Reuters.<br /><br />Previously it reported that 22 economists polled by Reuters expected the hike.
