Amid the ongoing protests demanding the resignation of the president and the prime minister, the opposition parties in Sri Lanka agreed to form an all-party interim government. The decision was announced after top leaders of the opposition parties held a meeting on Sunday. <br /> <br />President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will step down from his position on July 13. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe also announced he will resign from his position on Saturday. <br /> <br />An all-party government will be formed after the two top officials resign from their posts.
