The Madras High Court gave the green signal for the AIADMK general council meeting to be held in Chennai on Monday, July 11. Justice Krishnan Ramasamy rejected a plea by O Panneerselvam to stall the meeting where the agenda would be to revive the interim general secretary post and abolish coordinator as well as joint coordinator posts. <br /> <br />Hours before the Madras High Court decision, Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) and O Panneerselvam (OPS) factions resorted to stone-pelting. Supporters of both leaders attacked each other with sticks and chairs on the streets.
