Enjoy with your friends and family.<br /><br /><br />Daal Dahi Bhalay <br />Recipe in English:<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />- White Lentil 1 cup<br />- Yellow Lentil ½ cup<br />- Onion chopped 1<br />- Green Chili 4<br />- Salt 1 ½ Teaspoon <br />- Cumin Powder ½ Teaspoon<br />- Baking Soda 1 pinch<br />- Yoghurt ½ kg <br />- Sugar To taste<br />- Milk ½ cup<br />- Chat Masala<br /><br />Directions:<br />- Soak white lentils and yellow lentil in water for 4-5 hours.<br />- Strain water from the lentils.<br />- Add chopped onion, green chili, garlic paste, Cumin powder and salt.<br />- Add mixture in a Grinder, add 1 cup of water and grind it to a smooth batter.<br />- Pour batter in a bowl.<br />- Heat oil in a wok. With the help of spoon add mixture in oil for bhalay (dumplings) of desired size. Deep fry until golden brown. <br />- Take a bowl of water and add all bhalay (dumplings) in water and soak them for 10 minutes.<br />- In a separate bowl, add yogurt, sugar and milk, whisk well until smooth. <br />- Take soaked bhalay in hand and press to remove excess water and add them in yogurt.<br />- Repeat same for all bhalays. <br />- Mix with a spoon and sprinkle chaat masala generously.<br />- Delicious Daal Dahi bhalay is ready to serve.<br /><br />Tips: <br />• Daal ke bhalay (dumplings) can be saved for future use. After frying bhalays(dumplings) drain excess oil and keep them in an airtight box or shopper and freeze. <br />• When you need to use them take them out from freezer 20-30 before use, thaw and soak them in a warm water and follow the direction given in the recipe.<br /><br />Recipe in Urdu:<br /><br />Ajza:<br />- Mash ki Daal 1 cup<br />- Moong ki daal ½ cup<br />- Pyaz choti 1<br />- Hari Mirch 4<br />- Lehsan ka paste 1 Khane ka chamach<br />- Namak 1 ½ Chai ka chamach<br />- Zeera powder ½ Chai ka chamach<br />- Meetha soda 1 chutki<br />- Dahi ½ Kg<br />- Shakar Hasbe Zaika<br />- Doodh ½ cup<br />- Chaat Masala To taste <br /><br />Bananay ka tareeka:<br />- Mash aur moong ki daal ko 4-5 ghantay Pani main bhigo dain. <br />- Daal main se pani nikal len aur us mai kati huee pyaz, hari mirch, lehsan paste, zeera powder aur namak shamil karain.<br />- Grinder main daal mixture aur 1 cup paani shamil Karen aur achi tarah grind karlain.<br />- Mixture ko ek pyale main nikal lain aur meetha soda shamil kar ke mix karlen.<br />- Oil garam karain aur apni marzi ke size ke bhalay chamach ki madad se fry kar len. Golden brown hone par utar den.<br />- Bhalay ek pyale pani main daal dain. <br />- Aik pyalay main dahi len aur us main doodh aur cheeni shamil Karen aur achi tarah mix karlen.<br />- Ab bhalay pani main se nikal kar hath se press karke uska zaaid paani nikal len aur dahi nmain shamil karte jayen. Mix karlen aur chaat masala chirak dain.<br />- Mazeydaar Daal ke Dahi bhalay tayar hain.<br /><br />Tips: <br />• Agar bhalay baad main istimal karne hon tu bhalon ko fry karne ke baad air tight box ya bag main daal ke freeze karlen. <br />• Jab banana hon tu 20-30 minutes pehle freezer se bahir nikal ke rakh len.
