A revelation by the Housing Minister that some 40 per cent of those who live in public housing owe the Housing Development Corporation just over one billion dollars.<br /><br />And that debt, she says is close to what the HDC owes its contractors.<br /><br />The Minister says that in some instances tenants who live in units with a rental of about two hundred and fifty dollars a month, owe the HDC fifty thousand dollars.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.<br />
