<br />Legislation is expected to be put in place to regulate the scrap iron industry, but in the interim, a serious crackdown through stringent policies is being initiated by the T&T Scrap Iron Dealers Association to lead the charge.<br /><br /><br />This follows a meeting between the Association and the government on Wednesday in a bid to eradicate the rampant copper theft that is occurring throughout the country.<br /><br /><br />Alicia Boucher has the details.<br />
