Reports are coming through of a wide electricity outage affecting parts of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.<br /><br />Consumers have informed Malaysiakini of blackouts in areas such as Subang, Bandar Menjalara, Sri Hartamas, Kajang, Kepong, Shah Alam, Sungai Besi, Ampang and Bukit Damansara, among others.<br /><br />The power outage is also said to have affected areas outside the Klang Valley, including the likes of Bentong and Terang in Pahang; Kota Bharu, Kelantan; Butterworth and Bayan Lepas in Penang; and Alor Setar, Kedah.
