More than 100,000kg of plastic removed from Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and US West Coast

<p>Since starting in August 2021, the &#39;Ocean Cleanup&#39; initiative has collected 101,353kg of plastic in 45 extractions, sweeping the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, an area comparable to the size of Luxembourg.</p>
