A man who allegedly placed a vaping device into a baby’s mouth at a restaurant in Bandar Baru Uda recently has been remanded for five days starting today.<br /><br />The remand order against the 23-year-old businessperson was issued by Magistrate R Salini for investigation under Section 31 (1) (a) of the Child Act 2001.<br /><br />He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division of the Johor Bahru Utara (JBU) police at 12.45pm at Jalan Putih following a report lodged by the baby’s mother on Aug 6.
