UPA’s loss is NDA’s gain: How the states changed hands in 3 years

In the last three years, four states - Bihar, Maharashtra, Punjab and Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry have switched sides. Overall, the NDA has added one, and the UPA has lost one.
