Superman murió en los comics oficialmente en 1993, cuando el Superman #75 fue publicado mostrando la historia en la que Superman moría a manos del temible Doomsday.<br /><br />Dicha historia fue la mas vendida de la historia, y es uno de los sellos más reconocidos de una época de Superman.
