Challenge of Tutankhamon is an interactive and trackless dark ride at the Belgian amusement park, Walibi Belgium.<br /><br />The dark ride, opened in 2003, is built in Egyptian style. Visitors are guided through various scenes related to Ancient Egypt . The aim is for visitors to shoot at various animatronics and objects, such as tombs , by means of a laser gun , in order to collect as many points as possible. The score can be followed on a screen in the vehicle during the entire journey. The score influences the route to be taken during the ride. From a certain team score, the vehicle turns right in front of the station for some extra scenes. Here, visitors encounter a mythical creature that deems itself defeated, after which the vehicle drives into the treasury. This is followed by two animatronics by archaeologists, one of which has been grabbed by a mummy.<br /><br />With 6 million Euros in construction costs, the Challenge of Tutankhamon is the most expensive dark ride in Belgium .
