Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on August 18, said that by training pupils in schools, NEP hopes to boost the employability of nation's youth. <br /><br />“NEP has envisioned the increase in employability of nation's youth by training students in schools and giving importance to Indian languages. Benefits of this scheme will be seen in a few years; the scheme will then become successful,” he said. <br /><br />The government of India announced the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which recommends quality improvement of the system of education through the development of a National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
