Police were not given prior notice for the gathering of some 300 supporters of former premier Najib Abdul Razak outside Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.<br /><br />Brickfields police chief Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the group, which gathered to seek a royal pardon for Najib from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, was spotted at around 2pm yesterday.
