Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has sought a report from the Chief Secretary on the delay in construction of additional class rooms in Delhi government schools. According to the information received, the Lieutenant Governor has sought a report from the Chief Secretary of Delhi on the delay of two and a half years by the Vigilance Department in taking action on the CVC inquiry report in the construction of additional classes in government schools of Delhi. <br />The report found irregularities and procedural lapses in the projects. The report was sent by CVC to Secretary, Vigilance on 17 February 2020, seeking comments for further investigation/action.
