But if this clip is any indication, not all endings have to be sad. <br /><br />Shared by Simone Torres Landa, this heartwarming video features a decorated pilot landing the last flight of his career and getting a stellar water salute for all his contributions.<br /><br />"We surprised my dad, who was a pilot for almost 40 years, with a water salute while he was landing for the last time in Zurich," Simone said.
