Tropical Storm Danielle , May Become This Year's , First Hurricane.<br />Fox News reports that Tropical Storm Danielle is predicted to become the first hurricane of a strangely quiet Atlantic hurricane season. .<br />According to the National Hurricane Center, <br />the storm has already strengthened to maximum <br />sustained winds near 70 miles per hour and higher.<br />Additional strengthening is expected, <br />and the storm is likely to be upgraded <br />to a hurricane early on September 2.<br />The storm system is currently about 900 miles <br />west of the Azores and moving eastward<br />at about three miles per hour.<br />Fox News reports that there are currently <br />no coastal warnings or watches in effect, <br />and the storm is not a threat to any land.<br />According to forecasters, the storm <br />is expected to move over the open <br />Atlantic in the coming days.<br />While speaking to the Associated Press, Colorado State University hurricane researcher Phil Klotzbach highlighted this year's eerily calm Atlantic hurricane season.<br />This is the first time there have been <br />no named storms in the Atlantic from <br />July 3 to the end of August since 1941.<br />Meanwhile, in the Eastern Northern Pacific, <br />Tropical Storm Javier is about 236 miles <br />south-southwest of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.<br />With maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour, <br />Javier is moving northwest at nearly ten miles per hour <br />and expected to gain speed through September 3.<br />Fox News reports that hurricane season <br />peaks on approximately September 10 <br />and continues through November 30
