FOOTBALL fans were left stumped after Lionel Messi looked inside Marco Verratti's shorts ahead of PSG's win over Toulouse.<br /><br />Before kick-off, the players lined up in the tunnel equipped and ready to play.<br /><br />But Verratti seemed to have a problem with his shorts and asked Messi to help him.<br /><br />So without hesitation the Argentine pulled up his shorts and looked inside to identify the problem, which could have been caused by a tag.<br /><br />The incident caught the attention of several fans on social media who found Messi's behavior amusing but peculiar.<br /><br />One follower wrote: "Why is Messi checking Verratti's ass? "<br /><br />Another added: "He is clearly having the time of his life and I'm sure Verratti is having an even better time."<br /><br />And a third said: "Bro cheating on Antonella."<br /><br />The pair also showed chemistry on the pitch when they combined brilliantly for PSG's second goal.<br /><br />Verratti singled out Messi with a superb long pass that then carried the ball forward and set up Kylian Mbappe for an easy shot.<br /><br /><br />With PSG winning 3-0, it was a much better match for Messi than the last one against Monaco, although he was replaced again.<br /><br />At the weekend, the former Barcelona star seemed unimpressed as he sat on the bench after being substituted against Monaco as his team sought victory in a 1-1 draw.
