This time the circular journey is a theme based journey, i.e. Biryani. Apart from the places which are famous for Biryani, we will also visit other places (mainly centering those Biryani famous places). In this tour vlog, we showed our visit to Kolkata to two restaurants, one is Manzilat"s near Kasba area in and the other one is Dada Boudi restaurant at Barrakpore.<br /><br />At Manzilat's Restaurant, all food items are cooked by Manzilat Begum who is one of the descendants of Nawab Wazid Ali Shah of Lucknow who has been exiled to Kolkata in 1857 by British empire. He brought some of his cooks (khansama) from Awadh and invented here a new Kolkata style Biryani where Potato and new blend of spices have been improvised over Awadhi Biryani which came out with a new taste of Biryanis. Manzilat Begum is maintaining the legacy of Lucknowee Gharana here in Kolkata with their new twist of taste on Awadhi food.<br /><br />We tasted Galawati Kabab with Ulte Tawe ke Parathe, Yakhni Pulao, authentic Kolkata style Mutton Biryani and Firni over here.<br /><br />Taste wise, all are awesome and we really got indulged into it. This time we travelled by Kolkata suburban local train to Barrakpore which falls on Kolkata - Ranaghat railway route. We started our journey from the busiest Railway Station of India i.e. Sealdah Railway Station (in Kolkata) to Barrakore.<br /><br />We came to Barrakpore to savour a delicious bengali style Biryani restaurant known as Dada Boudi restaurant who are specialized in making of their signature Mutton Biryani. The restaurant is just 100 m away from the Barrakpore railway station.<br /><br />We tasted Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken over here. Awesome taste.
