Liz Truss: Britain's new 'Iron Lady'?<br /><br />Liz Truss has won the race to be leader of Britain’s Conservative Party, beating Rishi Sunak to succeed Boris Johnson as UK Prime Minister. Compared by supporters to Margaret Thatcher, the economic free-marketeer has moved rightwards over her political lifetime, and now promises that tax cuts will help the country face its economic challenges.<br /><br />Liz Truss is announced as winner of the vote to choose the leader of Britain's Conservative Party, thus becoming the UK's next Prime Minister.
