No special treatment is being accorded to former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak who is undergoing 12 years’ imprisonment at the Kajang prison in Selangor, a report has said.<br /><br />Utusan Malaysia quoted a source saying that apart from being placed in an isolation cell to ensure his safety as a high-profile inmate, the Pekan MP is being treated like any other prisoner under Regulation 8 of the Prisons Act 2000.<br /><br />Tthe daily also spoke to another source close to Najib, who confirmed the former finance minister has to bathe in cold water in his cell, which only has a single fan installed.
