TWO Pakistani cricket fans were killed when rifles were fired in celebration of their victory over Afghanistan, sparking riots among supporters.<br /><br />Peshawar supporters in Pakistan were celebrating reaching the Asian Cup final after their T20 win at the Sharjah International Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.<br /><br /><br />A dramatic end to the match saw Pakistan qualify for Sunday's showpiece by a wicket in the last over, and they will now face Sri Lanka for the trophy.<br /><br />According to Geo Live, fans rejoicing in the streets of Pakistan fired shots into the air to celebrate, leaving two dead.<br /><br />The report states that three other women were injured in the devastating accident.<br /><br />It is said that 41 people have been arrested by the police for their part in the incident.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Pakistan's victory over Afghanistan turned into chaos in the United Arab Emirates as fans came to blows after the match.<br /><br />In shocking scenes, supporters from Afghanistan could be seen pulling out chairs and throwing them at Pakistan fans, who in turn threw them back.<br /><br />Footage revealed that one of the unarmed Pakistani fans was hit in the back multiple times with a chair.<br /><br />Afghan spectators were seen trying to defuse the situation by snatching chairs from their fellow fans and trying to calm them down.<br /><br />Former Pakistani star Shoaib Akhtar criticized Afghan fans on social media, where she urged former Afghanistan Cricket Board chief executive Shafiq Stanikzai to learn of the incident.<br /><br />He tweeted: "This is what the Afghan fans are doing.<br /><br />"This is what they have done in the past several times.<br /><br />"This is a game and it's supposed to be played and taken in the right spirit.<br /><br />"Shafiq Stanikzai, your fans and your players need to learn a few things if they want to grow in the sport."<br /><br />There have been claims that the ugly scenes took place after Afghan bowler Fareed Malik abused Asif Ali, leading to a fight between the players.<br /><br />Along with the on-field attacks, online clips have shown both sets of supporters engaging in brawls outside the stadium.
