Siddique Kappan, a Kerala-based journalist, has got bail after nearly two years of imprisonment.<br />He was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police when he was on his way to cover the Hathras incident on Oct 5, 2020.<br /><br />A bench of Chief Justice UU Lalit and Justices PS Narasimha and S Ravindra Bhat have released him on bail, with the condition that he stays in Delhi for 6 weeks, after which he can travel to his home state Kerala.<br /><br />But can the bare minimum be equated with victory, asks Neelu Vyas on The Big Question.<br />
