Penang is the latest state to strip convicted former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak of his honours.<br /><br />State governor Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak stripped Najib of the Darjah Utama Pangkuan Negeri (DUPN) title, which carries the Datuk Seri honorific.<br /><br />A statement by acting state secretary Mohd Zakuan Zakaria cited Najib's conviction and sentencing as the reason behind the move.
