Get the tissue papers out because this military homecoming video is a tear-jerker!<br /><br />The heartfelt footage kicks off with Desiree Murders surprising her family with a visit after being away for almost a year due to her military obligations. <br /><br />While the subject's dad, Micah McDonald is quick to give his warrior girl a welcome-back hug, her mom, Shawnda backs up and goes into a temporary state of shock on seeing her girl after such a long time, and that too when she wasn't expecting her. <br /><br />Once she realizes she isn't dreaming, Shawnda embraces Desiree and refuses to let go. An emotional sight indeed!<br /><br />"I am a US Army Combat Medic and was on a 10-month deployment to the Baltic States to help assist ally NATO countries," Desiree said. "I had a 60-day extension and didn’t come home when planned.
