8 cheetahs from Namibia were released in their new home, MP's Kuno National Park.<br />PM Narendra Modi, who is celebrating his birthday today, released 3 cheetahs.<br />India in the past was home to Asiatic cheetahs but the species was declared extinct domestically by 1952.<br />Radio collars have been strapped on all the cheetahs for satellite monitoring.
