The Ugandan Ministry of Health has confirmed the first death from Ebola since 2019, an instance of the Sudan strain, in Mubende district, 150 kilometers west of the capital Kampala. A 24-year-old male "presented with EVD symptoms and later succumbed", the ministry announced on Twitter on Tuesday.
