How to Remove Green Screen in TechSmith Camtasia.<br /><br />Record your subject in front of a backdrop consisting of a single colour, then apply the effect Remove a Color, and finally replace the background with other material. This technique is often referred to as chromakey or green screen.<br /><br /><br />To access the Visual Effects tab, click here.<br />Visual Effects tab<br />Simply drag the Remove a Color effect onto the material in the timeline, and it will be applied.<br />Take away one of the Color effects.<br />To access the properties, you need to click the button labelled Properties.<br />To remove a colour from the media that is currently shown on the canvas, go to the properties tab, choose the Color dropdown, and then click the Eyedropper button.<br />Use the colour picker to choose colours on the canvas.<br />In order to continue customising the colour removal, make adjustments to the following properties:<br />Take away one of the Color characteristics.<br />Tolerance: By dragging the slider to the left or right, you may expand or contract the range of tints and hues available for the currently chosen colour.<br />Softness Allows you to smooth out pixelation and jagged colour edges surrounding the topic by dragging the slider to the right.<br />Defringe: Move the slider to the left or right to reduce the visibility of any colours that are still present.<br />Hue: By using the slider, you may change the hue of the clip so that it more closely matches a different backdrop.<br />Select "Invert" to undo the process of colour removal and conceal all content other than the colour that was removed.<br />Simply dragging fresh material into the track underneath the clip that has been altered will give you a new backdrop to work with.
