The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) today announced that it will investigate the procurement of off-shore patrol vehicles (OPV) by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).<br /><br />PAC chairperson Wong Kah Woh said the committee had decided to investigate the matter in order for the public to understand why the delivery of the OPVs was delayed.<br /><br />“The PAC is of the opinion that the MMEA and Home Ministry need to explain the delays to Parliament, through the PAC.<br /><br />“This will allow the public to understand the real reasons behind the delays,” said Wong in a statement today.<br /><br />Read more: https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/637103
