Hurricane Ian has left whole neighbourhoods in Florida underwater as it brought torrential rain and stormy weather to the state.<br /><br />Footage from Naples, Key West, Fort Lauderdale and Cape Coral shows the extent of the damage giving a glimpse into what the rest of the state has experienced.<br /><br />One Key West resident said: "We expect the surge by 4pm but things are getting better. Some streets are dryer."<br /><br />The National Hurricane Center said the storm will remain a Category 4 as winds reached up to 140mph, but is expected to weaken as it makes its way up the state.
