PAS will make a final decision by this week on whether to revive the Muafakat Nasional pact with Umno as the general election looms.<br /><br />In a statement today, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said the party will study Umno's "openness" to revive Muafakat.<br /><br />"(We) will consider (what constitutes) the greater good and the lowest risk," he added.<br /><br />Takiyuddin said the Quran had urged Muslims to work together and this was the spirit of the Muafakat charter which the party wanted to uphold.
