The flood situation in Dhemaji remains grim as the flood water submerged more areas under Jonai Sub-Division. <br /><br />Many villagers have left their homes and taken shelter in safer places. <br /><br />As per ASDMA, over 15,000 people have been affected due to the flood. <br /><br />The SDRF and district administration teams are engaged in rescue operations in the flood affected areas.
