It was the company’s first post-war model and was made around 1948 to 1954. <br /><br />The XK 120 engine is named as such because it can reach speeds up to 120 mph or around 193 km/h. It was the most popular sports car during that time, and actors like Humphrey Bogart bought it and used it.<br /><br />The XK 120’s history can be traced even in the racetrack. Having to types of molds, the roadster, which was a convertible, and the closed fixed-head coupe, made it popular. It won race rallies from 1949-1954, and set records while doing it.
