CHAOS reigned at Elland Road when Leeds were awarded a stoppage time penalty against Arsenal - only for VAR to overturn it.<br /><br />Gunners defender Gabriel Magalhaes was dramatically sent off in added time for appearing to kick out at Patrick Bamford.<br /><br />The pair clashed as Bamford took exception to Gabriel's challenge as he tried to close down on Ramsdale.<br /><br />Referee Chris Kavanagh originally pointed to the spot and gave Gabriel his marching orders after speaking to his assistant referee.<br /><br />But Kavanagh was then called to consult the monitor to check for a foul on Gabriel by Bamford in the build up.<br /><br />And in an incredible ending to the game Gabriel's red card, and the penalty, were both OVERTURNED to leave Leeds boss Jesse Marsch outraged.<br /><br />Bamford was judged to have pushed Gabriel in the back, which then resulted in the defender kicking out at the Leeds striker.<br /><br />Gabriel's card was then downgraded from a red to a yellow for unsporting behaviour.<br /><br />In a pulsating ending to the game, Arsenal eventually managed to cling on for all three points.<br /><br />It came after the game was suspended for 40 minutes because of a POWER CUT.<br /><br />Ref Kavanagh halted the action just seconds after kick off when he couldn't communicate with his VAR team.<br /><br />Both teams were sent back to the dressing rooms before play resumed after a 40 minute delay.<br /><br />Bukayo Saka scored the winner to give Arsenal a ninth win in 10 Premier League games.<br /><br />It was a fourth goal in just three games for the England ace and maintained Arsenal's spot at the top of the league.<br />
