After Russia launched further attacks on the country's energy infrastructure in the west, numerous parts of the war-torn nation of Ukraine reported power outages, according to national energy operator Ukrenergo.<br /><br />According to Ukrenergo, energy limitations were "forcibly implemented" in a number of areas, including the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv and the area around it.<br /><br />The extent of the destruction is on par with or may even be greater than the effects of the strike on October 10–12<br /><br />According to Kyiv, Moscow's military launched over 80 missiles against Ukrainian cities on October 10 in apparent retribution for an explosion that destroyed a crucial bridge connecting the Crimean peninsula to Russia.
