For more than 10 years, one South Oropouche family says they’ve been owed money by the government.<br /><br />As part of the Point Fortin Highway project, five plots of their land were identified for compulsory acquisition and a sum of payment was agreed upon since 2012.<br /><br />However, they tell our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh that to date, no money has been released and equipment moved onto the land a few months ago.
