A 12-year-old schoolgirl named Lola - who was raped and murdered at her apartment complex in Paris - has become a cause célèbre for France’s anti-immigration parties, after an Algerian woman was charged with the offences.<br /><br />The 24-year-old woman - known as Dhabia B - allegedly carried out the attack after ignoring an order to leave France this year, triggering questions over France’s handling of immigration.<br /><br />Far-right demonstrators had taken to the streets after the discovery of Lola's body.<br /><br />The girl’s family last week demanded that people "immediately stop using the name and image of their child for political ends", both at public gatherings and on the internet.<br /><br />Please subscribe
