Antony has urged he will not stop showboating despite receiving backlash for performing an arrogant 720-degree spin during Manchester United's Europa League win against Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday night.<br /><br />Reds Devils legend Paul Scholes labelled the Brazilian a 'clown' after he flaunted the skill move with the score at 0-0 during the match, which Manchester United went on the win 3-0 thanks to goals from Diogo Dalot, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo.<br /><br />Antony took to social media on Friday to double down on his expressive style of play, insisting that he 'won't stop' doing what helped him secure his £85.5million move to Old Trafford this summer.<br /><br />'We are known for our art,' the winger posted to Instagram. 'And I won't stop doing what got me to where I am!'<br /><br /><br />Erik ten Hag hooked Antony off at half-time but did not explicitly reveal after the match whether or not it was a direct result of his showboating.<br /><br />When asked on BT Sport whether the substitution was made for that reason, Ten Hag replied: 'More or less planned. If we are up, I wanted to see Cristiano and Marcus Rashford close together on the right side and that's one of the reasons.<br /><br />'I thought Garnacho was playing quite well on the left side and he had good tempo dribbling. It was more or less planned.'<br /><br />Scholes slammed the Brazilian's behaviour after the match, labelling him a 'clown' and insisting that he 'needs that knocked out of him'.<br /><br />The ex-United midfielder said: 'I think it frustrated him. I just don't know what it achieves. I love a little bit of showboating, and entertainment but at least get the pass right.<br /><br />'Does that do anything for anybody? Does that do anything for himself? I'd have to ask him - even at 4-0 up what does that do for you? <br /><br />'This country, any country even Brazil. They don't want to see that do they? I like to see skills and entertainment, I just don't think it's skill or entertainment it's just being a clown.'<br /><br />Antony and Manchester United prepare to take on West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
