Imran Khan, Pakistan’s former prime minister, is to lead a protest march of his supporters, demanding early general elections. <br /><br />Thousands of people are expected to join the 233 mile (375km) march, from the eastern city of Lahore, to the capital Islamabad. <br /><br />The federal government has said it will not let the protesters in the capital, and are planning to deploy several thousand security personnel.<br /><br />Mr Khan has been pushing for fresh elections since he was ousted as leader of Pakistan in April, after losing a no confidence vote. <br /><br />Please subscribe
